Shopping vouchers for Linthouse Community Shop

Thanks to Glasgow University’s GRID Civic Fund LHA have funding to offer shopping vouchers for use in Linthouse Community Shop.

The vouchers are available to residents living in the G51 postcode who may be may be struggling financially or whose money is being stretched by rising costs.  

Membership for the shop costs £1 a month and LHA has  vouchers for a year’s membership plus a £20 voucher that can be spent in the shop.

Linthouse Community Shop operates in the same way that any small shop would with individually priced items including fresh and frozen food, tinned items and household goods but at a discounted price so any money spent in the shop will go further.  

Customers will need to complete a short questionnaire about why the voucher would be helpful, which will provide statistics for the funder, but they can use the voucher straight away.

The Community Shop is open on Tuesdays, 3-6pm and Thursdays 10am-1pm.
